Main Features & Services

• • Commercial Invoices - a minimum of information is required but for many countries, certain additions, such as the importer’s VAT number, commodity code and standard declarations are needed.
• • Bills of Lading – we proof read all Bills of Lading, prior to sending them to you for checking and in cases where letters of credit have been used and where there is no clear interpretation, Internautica will take the matter up with the relevant bank on your behalf, if you feel that would assist.
• • Letters of Credit - are documents which describe the transaction, goods, value, payment terms and how the movement of goods is to be made. When L/Cs are used, FAEFA always require sight of the LC prior to collecting goods, in order to ascertain whether we are able to comply therewith.
• • Certificates of Origin – are mainly used for the Middle East and come in two main types: Arab British & European. Internautica will advise as to what may be required by your client and will provide you with the necessary questions to put to your client because ultimately, it is the importer who has the final say as to what kind of document is used and by obtaining clear instructions from them, they become responsible, if the authorities reject that choice.
• • EUR1 – a document used to allow the importer to obtain a reduction in duty, as a result of trade agreements between the two countries.
• • Customs Entries – aside from the standard permanent export entry or home use import entry, a variety of procedures can be invoked when your transaction is other than a straight-forward import or export. At Internautica, we will discuss the particular requirements of your business and ensure that the right procedure is used in order to ensure that you satisfy HMRC requirements and are able to claim preference or rebates, as applicable.
• • Other documents include fumigation certificate, Black List, weight certificates and CITES Licenses.
